Great hat and body protector fitting. Emma and Lauren really know their stuff. Some wonderful products, make sure you take your credit card, or even better ... someone elses!

Great service frendly

Took my daughters for a birthday shopping spree today and had such a lovely friendly experience. Really helpful but gave us plenty of space and time to try on every pair of joddies and boots in the shop 🤦🏼‍♀️ all accompanied by over excited chattering 😂 Both girls super pleased with their purchases and great variety for all ages! We will definitely be back once my piggy bank has recovered!

Really really helpful kind and smiley! Went into the shop last weekend (complete novice) my 5 year old daughter has just started riding, was after a pair of riding shoes/boots and didn’t have a clue what I was looking at or for, the girls in the shop were really helpful… don’t try and take your money for the sake of it and I was actually given a lot of advice and sent elsewhere for a cheaper pair to get us started as they didn’t want us spending lots on a pair if my daughter doesn’t stick to it! how goods that for trust and honesty!? This will 100% be our go to place in the future if my daughter sticks to riding! Still early days but she seems to be loving it! Massively recommend this place!! Thanks guys! Shorts man! X

Romsey saddlery is the best place in the south east if not the whole UK to get your hat fitted. Emma is not just great fun but so incredibly knowledgeable. When I wasn’t around to pick up my hat, she even organised for it to be dropped at my dad’s work! Was everything you look for in a great tack shop, wouldn’t get my hat fitted anywhere else! Xxxxxxx

Emma is fabulous, always on hand to give advise if needed and very helpful! Store has a great selection of sometimes hard to find products and in my experience Emma will help you find a suitable product even if she doesn't stock it by ordering in. My favourite horsey shop!

Fantastic service, came in today and bought a new riding hat for my daughter after finding out that the hat she was wearing that was sold to me by another saddlery shop was incorrectly fitted. Thanks so much to Emma and Lauren. I won’t be going anywhere else to by any of my daughters equipment in the future. Five stars.

I never write reviews but these guys deserve one!! Popped to Romsey Saddlery on a whim as I hadn’t been there for some time and was after a replacement hat after a nasty fall a little while ago, having had some bad experience at other places in the past with either poor fitting or being treated like an idiot it slightly put me off. Romsey saddlery was none of these... I was welcomed with open arms as if I was a regular customer who shopped on a regular basis with them. Customer service was second to none - having worked in management roles within retail for some time with a huge focus on customer services and the customers experience I can see this lady is genuine and passionate she demonstrates those behaviours that will get customers to keep coming back! She had so much knowledge, straight talking but really was not there for a hard sell at all. Having always had gatehouse hs1 for probably the last 5 to 10 years. She kitted me out with a brand new champion, which fits like a glove and well worth the £££. After my experience I will certainly be back.

Always helpful and some fab stuff

Thank you so much to Romsey Saddlery for fitting me with a new hat!! On Sunday my Pony slipped and fell causing us both to go down. Immediately after I saw starts and my vision was blurry so there was no questioning as to whether I hit my head or not!! Upon inspection I noticed a crack on the outside so I went straight into see the lovely lady’s at Romsey Saddlery to get it checked. Lauren Burchall did her inspections and condemned my hat, I was not going to argue with that as safety in this sport is paramount! Lauren fitted me with a new hat straight away that day with the added MIPS brain protection system, which was fantastic as we have our first BE event coming up in a few weeks time so I no longer need to worry as I know my head will be fully protected 😁🦄 A fall on Sunday and a new hat on Tuesday 😁 couldn’t recommend Romsey Saddlery enough they are always my go to !!!!

My 7 year old daughter had her riding hat fitted after saving for it for ages. They were so helpful and friendly and had a huge selection of silks to choose from which made my daughter very happy.

Highly recommend, Emma has insane knowledge of fitting both hats and body protectors. It’s an Aladdins cave full of everything horsey. The most helpful and knowledgeable staff and amazing customer service. As a parent of a child with ASD, I highly recommend Emma who has a natural way and total understanding and patience to find out exactly what they want, priceless when finding clothing and equipment that must be comfortable.

Went to get a new hat fitted after I had a fall so had to get a new hat and aiverly at ringood wouldn't fit hats till 12th april but it was all done with all the safety measures in place

Guys get yourselves to Romsey Saddlery I went with an idea of the hat I wanted and came out with something totally different BUT 100 times safer for playing with baby horses. So at least whenever brains I have will be protected better. If you want honest, straight talking advice, good brands and a relaxed environment definitely make the trip its so worth it . I will be taking the kids back for hat fittings asap and back protectors #cantputapriceonsaftey
